As we head further east, the likelihood of internet connections lessens, yet we've been pleasantly surprised at the hotels we've landed up in - Poland is a country in which an amazing amount of investment is going on.
But if we're off the radar for a couple of days, its lovely to keep receiving your comments, and your prayers are really important. God bless, Garry
You are all doing so well. Prayers for your continued safety, safe arrival of Alan, Pauline and aid and of course the border crossing. Looking forward to hearing all about it when you return. xx
ReplyDeleteHi guys. What progress you have made. It's fantastic. I'm aching all over just thinking about it. We had a lovely concert on Sunday night in church the two lads from Ukraine playing accordians - really good. Weather still hot here but cloudy and humid. Did you know Colin (the vicar)is off for a sabatical for a few months, he announced it in church on Sunday. I hope it is not because of the extra work that he has had to put in over the past few years reigning me in!!! Ha Ha.
ReplyDeleteJust trying to think of anything else happening, and realised how boring my life is, because there is nothing to report.
Spent an hour last night going round the village taking photos because when I go to Wales in a couple of weeks time on holiday I am staying with my Aunt who is virtually blind and I know she will never visit me in Felsted, so before her eyes completely go, I can download the images onto a computer screen so she will be able to see where we live. I am hoping to take some images indoors, but before then must do something with that pile of ironing, i.e. put it in a cupboard and forget about it. I think that's the best plan of action.
Well love to you all, our prayers are with for a continuing safe journey. Onwards and eastwards. Love Linda & Alex xxxx
Hi J & J and L & G
ReplyDeleteWonderful to hear of your travels. Watch out for Granny and her cow when you get to Ukraine walking along by the road. We are all packed, suitcases onboard ready for a 5am start. Very much looking forward to meeting you all at Chelm. This is our last email until we meet but the phone will be on. Take care all of you, keep safe and well. God be with us all. Love Alan and Pauline.
